Fructose Malabsorption: A Hidden Cause of Bloating, Acne, Depression, and Fatigue?

I’ve mentioned fructose malabsorption so many times on my channel, but never really got into detail. A lot of you wanted to know more, so I’ve decided to do a little series all about fructose malabsorption and low FODMAP foods. This video is all about what fructose malabsorption is, my experience with it, and how it can manifest in someone’s body and mind.

30-40% of people in world (and up to 50% Central Europeans like me) suffer fructose malabsorption, so it’s more relevant than you might think.

Fructose malabsorption simply means that that you must be mindful about what kind of fruits and how much of them you consume (not only fruit, but I’ll talk about that in the next video), plus the ratio between fructose and glucose is everything. Watch the video to understand what I mean!
