How to Get Rid of Acne – Skin Clearing Diet, Minerals, and Herbs

Acne comes from within and all diseases (including acne) start from digestion issues. Strengthen your digestion and everything else will fall into place. In this video, I share some of my best diet tips and also recommend a few different minerals and herbs that have helped me clear my skin. I’ve tried every single one of them and love them to bits.

  1. Hi! Thank you for that. So we’re your correlating potassium levels with histamine sensitivity? Just curious is those anti-histamine herbs are naturally high in potassium? If I misunderstood, then what would be an absorbable way to get potassium through herbs? Thank you!

    • Hi Sarah, low potassium is linked to allergies, perhaps not necessarily with high histamine. It’s low copper that is a direct cause of histamine intolerance. The anti-histamine herbs aren’t high in potassium or copper. They simply help the body break down histamine and take it out of the body safely. I don’t think you could get potassium from herbs if you were low. Foods would be more suitable: things like bananas sweet potatoes, regular potatoes, and most veggies and fruit are high in potassium. However, if you’re low, then food alone might not be enough. Always make sure you check your levels before supplementing though. xx

  2. Hi, Vita! I really like your website! I saw that you eat dairy. How do you eat dairy without it for sure breaking you out? I’ve always heard that dairy and gluten break you out, but how do you eat them without it causing acne? Thanks! Grace Rom.5:8

    • Hi Grace, dairy only causes acne if your digestive system is too weak to process or if the dairy products aren’t organic. I strengthened my digestive system, so that I can eat everything, including wheat and dairy because both have been staples for my ancestors for hundreds if not thousands of years. xx
