My Holy Grail Under $18 Face Oils and Serums for Radiant Skin

is video is about my favourite face oils and serums that won’t break the bank in your quest for radiant skin. None of them are over $18 dollars and each of these products will last for many, many months. I’d used oils alone for years, but adding these two serums changed my complexion completely. If you’re looking for that beautiful natural glow, you’ll love these oils and serums.

1. Plum Kernel Seed Oil – I got it as a gift from a lovely Polish viewer Monica and it’s totally stolen my heart. Plum kernel seed oil has the highest content of vitamin E out of all the oils. And it smells like marzipan! Win-win.
2. Aura Cacia Argan Oil – it’s a great basic oil for every day use because it’s nourishing and has sun protective properties as well. The smell is pretty bad, but it works so well that I’m willing to overlook it.
3. Life-Flo Refreshing Floral Rosehip Oil – rosehip has been my firm favourite for years. It’s great for softening the skin and for getting rid of any scars and dark marks on the skin. Nothing works better than this for healing old acne scars. Rosehip oil has the highest vitamin A content, so it’s amazing for healthy and radiant skin.
4. Derma-E Radiant Glow Face Oil – this oil is a collaboration by Derma-E and a fellow YouTube SunKissAlba. I’m super happy to support Alba by buying this product, but most importantly, I’ve never seen an oil with similar ingredients. It has argan, jojoba, and seabuckthorn oils, as well mineral shimmer particles, so it gives the most beautiful healthy glow. It’s also a multi-tasking oil that can be used on the body and hair as well. Love it!
5. Badger Seabuckthorn Face Oil – I love seabuckthorn, especially for colder months when my skin needs more nourishment. This oil is slightly heavier and it smells divine. It’s my go-to in the winter months.
6. Aura Cacia Macadamia Oil – it’s a very nourishing and protective oil. Applying it almost feels like enveloping my skin in a protective cushion. I use it on the days when I’ve had sun exposure or some cold wind on my cheeks, or if my skin is feeling a little dry or irritated. Macadamia oil also smells just like macadamia nuts, which I love!
7. InstaNatural Vitamin C Serum – such a fantastic product! I use it probably a couple of times a week before I go to bed (I simply mix it with my regular face oil). It brightens my skin, smooths any wrinkles or uneven skin tone, heals blemishes, and lightens dark pigmentation or old acne stars. It’s also an absolute bargain for an absolutely natural vitamin C serum with amazing ingredients.
8. InstaNatural Hyaluronic Acid Serum – this is an amazing, super affordable serum, too. Hyaluronic acid attracts the moisture from the air, so it plumps and hydrates my skin better than anything. I use it almost every evening and really notice a difference when I wake up in the morning.

Let me know if you know of any oil or serum that you absolutely love and you think I should try. Thanks so much for watching!

Simply yours,
Vita xx

  1. Is there a particular reason to use serums, not creams?

  2. Oh,and one more question – do u ever use an eye cream, or just the serum that goes to all over the face? how about those moments when you put nothing after OCM, should eye area stay clean/no cream? thank you, u r my beauty guru:*

    • I used to use an eyecream or one of the serums in my area, but lately I’ve only been using my regular face oil all over, including my eye area. Right now I’m using argan oil. <3

      • Thank you! My hubby adores u too, thanks to you, I get rid off half of my cosmetics:) I do not like to have a lot, cosmetics, clothes, etc., so I feel very happy that I do not need additional eye cream or things like that:)

        • Hahaha, my husband is so happy that I’ve minimised my routine so much as well. He used to be horrified by all my lotions and potions, lengthy morning and evening routine, and still horrible skin. 🙂 <3

  3. Another question! Deeper I go, more questions I have! What about the situation I do not use any serum/oil after OCM, my skin is good enough after, do I still need an under eye cream?

    • I would still apply some oil after the OCM, both on the face and under the eyes. If you don’t feel like you need anything on the rest of the face, it’s a good idea to apply a drop of oil under the eyes. <3
